Denise is the founder of Freedman Leadership Group, LLC, a professional coaching business dedicated to groups and individuals in pursuit of expanding their knowledge and capabilities through aligning their personal values and strengths with results.
She began her career at Rand McNally & Co., followed by work in residential real estate development, which led to a 24-year career at Bank of America.
Denise held senior positions, in lending, loan operations and community impact management.
During her tenure, she also led business line teams through mergers, facilitated cross-functional groups in associate satisfaction, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) production and leadership engagement.
She is a graduate of University of Illinois, (B.A. Sociology) and pursued post-graduate coursework in organizational development through Pepperdine University. Denise is a certified workshop instructor having led sessions to enhance participants’ personal and professional growth. She studied coaching at the Columbia University Coaching Certification Program, a joint program through Columbia Teacher’s College and Columbia Business School, Executive Education. She is certified to administer the NBI Adult Assessment and is a member of ICF, International Coaching Federation.
Denise has served in numerous leadership roles for housing, lending and non-profit organizations throughout her career, and she is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Florida. She combines her solid corporate experience and non-profit leadership with application of practices informed by principles rooted in business and social behavior research and Columbia University’s Coaching Certification Program.
